jonathan a. newman是加拿大劳瑞尔大学（wilfrid laurier university）副校长，教授。英国皇家昆虫学会和皇家生物学学会会员、安大略大学研究理事会成员、g.magnotta虫媒传染病基金董事会成员。研究领域：草地生态学、气候变化生物学、入侵物种生态学、昆虫生态学、植物-真菌相互作用、数学建模等。在nature，science等期刊发表百余篇论文，出版climate change biology等专著3部。
